Lisa A. Lemons
Executive Director
Executive Director
Lisa has more than 25 years’ experience in the public sector serving in multiple roles in municipal government and non-profit organizations. They graduated in 1996 from the University of North Texas with a B.A.A.S. in Interpersonal Communications with minors in Social Work and Sociology.
Jessica Barajas
Program Director
Jessica is a ardent advocate for men and women that have experienced hardships in life. She is a leader. She enjoys leading others to a life where they may thrive after the effects of domestic violence. She is passionate about helping her community by working actively and daily with domestic violence survivors and batterers.
Christina McLennan
Shelter Director
Christina started with Option House as a volunteer and really enjoyed working with the children at the shelter. I am now excited to be the Shelter Director for Option House.
Tory Rozzi
Finance & Admin Assistant
Tory started out as a volunteer with Option House and quickly transitioned into being an employee. She feels fortunate to be a member of the such a dedicated team. As Tory has stated, "It is my heartfelt belief that everyone should have the chance to secure a safe and stable future. Especially those experiencing and who are survivors of domestic violence."

LaTeara Barnes
Prevention & Outreach Specialist
LaTeara has 6 years of foundation in Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking, along with a background of mental health and personal development. Mrs. Barnes is an alumni of Victor Valley Community College and CSUSB and plans to obtain her Masters in Public Administration. When she is not working to strengthen the community through her outreach and prevention work, she is out with her husband, daughters, and dog enjoying each others company through activities like hiking, picnics, random beach trips or star gazing.
Marisela Quezada
Prevention & Outreach Assistant
Marisela graduated from Westwood College in 2015 with a BS in Criminal Justice Administration. Marisela has always wanted to be the type of person she needed as a child; someone approachable with and open mind and free of judgement. She is following her career path which lead her to Option House where she can work with the youth in the Teen Dating Violence Prevention Program. She is excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to see what difference she can make in the community one step at a time.
Helene Cortez
Housing Navigator
Helene is a domestic violence survivor. She was born and raised in Germany and Belgium and speaks 4 languages. She has a B.A. in Human Service Management. She was on the organizing committee for the Special Olympics World Summer Games in L.A. She has 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 2 dogs and 1 cat. She loves teaching victims/survivors about domestic violence and how to break free from abuse.

Veronica Ramirez
Legal Services Supervisor
Veronica is a 20-year employee with Option House and has served in multiple roles during her tenure. She has 15 years' experience as an advocate for people needing legal support with domestic violence situations. She is very passionate about her work. For Veronica, each person is an opportunity to make someone’s life and family safe and better than before.
Adrián Casillas-Gonzalez
Legal Advocate
Adrián is a bilingual Legal Advocate at Option House. He specializes in temporary restraining orders (TRO’s) advocating for victims and survivors of domestic violence and elder abuse. Before joining Option House, Adrián advocated at UCLA on local, state, and national levels championing on behalf of marginalized student populations. “I want to make an impact on my community by turning to you and asking how I can help?” Adrián habla español.
Joanna Perez
CFS Advocate
Joanna is very family oriented and has been married for 20 years. Along with her wonderful husband, she has been blessed with three beautiful children. She is a very passionate and dedicated domestic violence advocate and loves teaching individuals tools to develop and maintain a healthy relationship.
Marjorie Stein, LCSW
Clinician
Marjorie has been with Option House for over 6 years, providing Individual and Group Therapy to clients (both shelter and community) and training Social Work students. She has more than 40 years of experience working with trauma survivors in both Mental Health and Drug/Alcohol settings.

Alma
Domestic Violence Advocate
Alma holds an AA/AS in Human Services & Social & Behavioral Sciences along with my Case Management certificate. Alma chose this path because she, like so many others, is a survivor of Domestic Violence. Being able to give back brings her immense joy. Although there are many sad stories, being a good listener and support system for survivors and connecting with people and helping them through their hard times brings Alma great joy.
Janeth
Domestic Violence Advocate
Janeth is an aspiring forensic psychologist who has a heart for others. She currently holds an M.A. in Forensic Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology. She is looking forward to growing as an individual and professional. As she firmly believes there is great joy in positively impacting the lives of others.
Lamenthia
Domestic Violence Advocate
Lamenthia is a DV advocate that brings her many years of experience in social services working with mentally challenged adults. She enjoys cooking and sharing her cooking skills and colorful flair for life with those at the shelter.
Brittney
Domestic Violence Advocate
Brittney is a criminal justice professional who has always had a desire to work with disadvantaged communities. She finds working with survivors very rewarding but also heartwarming. She hopes to help make a difference in her community one person at a time.
Katrina
Domestic Violence Advocate
Katrina has been working at Option House for over 10 years. She has held multiple positions within the agency that include, advocate, lead advocate, shelter manager, and case manager.
She has specialized training in the following areas: sex trafficking, sexual assault, trauma informed care, field supervisor training, and domestic violence advocate training.
