Christina McLennean brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as the Shelter Director at Option House Inc. Christina's journey with Option House Inc. began four years ago when she joined as a shelter intern, driven by a personal commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence. Over the years, she has honed her expertise and deepened her understanding of the complexities surrounding domestic violence, holding various roles within the organization.

Christina McLennean aporta una gran experiencia y pasión a su papel como Directora de Refugio en Option House Inc. El viaje de Christina con Option House Inc. comenzó hace cuatro años cuando se unió como pasante de refugio, impulsada por un compromiso personal de marcar la diferencia en las vidas de aquellos afectados por la violencia doméstica. A lo largo de los años, ha perfeccionado su experiencia y profundizado su comprensión de las complejidades que rodean la violencia doméstica, desempeñando diversos roles dentro de la organización.

Alma began her career as an intern for Option House, Inc. as a domestic violence advocate for San Bernardino County. She holds an AA in Human Services and behavioral science from San Bernardino Valley College student, and pursuing her BS in Social Work at Simmons University. Understanding and helping people improve their lives and being part of their healing journey motivates Alma and brings her happiness. Alma want to make a difference and be a voice for the silenced. 

Alma comenzó su carrera como pasante para Option House, Inc. como defensora de la violencia doméstica en el condado de San Bernardino. Tiene una licenciatura en Servicios Humanos y Ciencias del Comportamiento de San Bernardino Valley College, estudiante de San Bernardino Valley College, y está cursando su licenciatura en Trabajo Social en Simmons University. Comprender y ayudar a las personas a mejorar sus vidas y ser parte de su viaje de sanación motiva a Alma y le brinda felicidad. Alma quiere marcar la diferencia y ser la voz de los silenciados.

LaTeara Barnes serves as Prevention and Outreach Supervisor at Option House Inc., where she leads comprehensive programs aimed at preventing teen relationship abuse and empowering youth. She oversees trainings, community outreach initiatives, and the coordination of volunteers and interns, ensuring programs are both effective and accessible.

In addition to program management, LaTeara actively contributes to community-wide efforts as a member of the Child Abuse Awareness Committee, Women’s Awareness Subcommittee, and Community Policy Advisory Committee, driving policy development, advocacy, and public awareness initiatives.

With a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership, LaTeara brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit service, including 10 years in domestic violence and human trafficking prevention and 7 years in youth empowerment, applying her expertise to create safer, more resilient communities.

Christina has been employed with Option House for over 6 years in various positions at the Agency. She started as an Intern at Option House Inc while pursuing my degree in Social Work. Christina enjoys working with people and educating people about Domestic Violence.

Roxanne is a Legal Advocate providing assistance with Temporary Restraining Orders for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence. Before coming to Option House, Roxanne was in the Title and Escrow Industry for over 20 years.

Roxanne es una defensora legal que brinda asistencia con órdenes de restricción temporales para víctimas y sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica. Antes de llegar a Option House, Roxanne estuvo en la industria de títulos y depósitos en garantía durante más de 20 años.
