This in-person training is designed for passionate individuals who are ready to dive deep into the realities of domestic violence and learn how to support survivors with empathy, skill, and purpose.

Option House, Inc. has been a trusted provider of domestic violence services in San Bernardino County for over 44 years. We are an accredited nonprofit domestic violence agency offering:
Support group classes
Counseling services
Assistance with filing Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs)
Teen Dating Violence Prevention programs
📚 About the Training
Held in person at our administrative office, this training offers high-quality, expert-led instruction that improves your ability to:
Identify domestic violence by understanding the Cycle of Violence and its dynamics
Respond to survivors in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive way
Understand the unique impacts on vulnerable groups, including immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, children, and more
Connect survivors to the services and resources they need to thrive
This training will take place over two weeks:
🗓 November 10th–13th & November 17th–20th
🕙 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM each day

Due to the high demand for our 40-Hour Domestic Violence Advocacy Training, we are currently in the process of securing a larger venue to better accommodate our growing number of participants. As a result, our upcoming training sessions are temporarily on hold.
We’re committed to delivering an impactful, in-person experience that equips advocates with the knowledge and tools needed to identify and respond to domestic violence, including how it affects diverse communities such as immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those navigating legal and gun-related challenges.
